About Us

Evolution Studio Works founder and CEO, Barry KuKes was the Community Outreach & Marketing Director for Halifax Humane Society located in Daytona Beach, FL from 2017 to 2023. He still consults for the organization on occasion. Barry is a recognized animal welfare advocate who is a                                          featured columnist for the USA Today Network of 2400 newspapers                                                      nationwide. He has also written several books  about animals and pets.
He was instrumental in video taping of
a dog and owner reunion in 2020 that                                        went viral with over 14.3 million views on Facebook and an additional                                                    300,000 on YouTube. The dog, Ashley ran away from her home in Savannah,                                        GA and ended up at Halifax Humane Society in Daytona Beach, FL. She had been missing for over two-weeks.
While with Halifax Humane Society, Barry increased the Facebook followers from 29,000 to over 50,000 in just three-years.

"Posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., isn't just about how many times you post, but more about the quality and content of your posts. If you are always begging for money, you will lose followers and donors who are vital to your organization. Posting without a plan isn't smart. The post you made one minute ago about needing foster parents for bottle baby kittens will be knocked down the post stream by the post about your upcoming Yappy Hour. Spreading your posts out over a period of time is very important to maximize your community engagement,"  said Barry in a recent interview.
